During the first visit Dr. Zimmermann will take a full homeopathic case with everyone. It takes an hour for children, two hours for adults. For children with behavioural issues it is often best to meet with the parents alone for 30-45 minutes initially so sensitive issues can be discussed without the child present.

Dr. Zimmermann does not necessarily prescribe on the on the first visit as more information, including tests, diet diaries and others often need to be gathered.

In general naturopathy it is much easier and faster to put the person on a dietary program and to prescribe some herbs and supplements. People with certain conditions can be given routine diet and supplement programs. Many NDs practice like that and will prescribe such programs at the first visit.

This will definitely help, but not as much as in-depth classical homeopathy in combination with diet, lifestyle changes etc. A really great health care program would incorporate lifestyle issues, homeopathy, exercise and physical therapies, counselling as well as energy work to address all aspects of the body, mind and spirit.
