Natural Treatment of Infertility caused by Endometriosis

Natalie consulted me about 14 years ago regarding her excruciatingly painful periods. She had been diagnosed with endometriosis many years ago and was also infertile. Married ten years, she had never been able to conceive. Her husband and her had adopted a little boy five years into the marriage because they really wanted a family.

At this point her goal was just to manage her severely painful periods. There was no thought of achieving a pregnancy. One of the main things I gave her was an herbal complex called 'Herbotox' by a company called 'Genestra'.

I had listened to a tape by another naturopath giving a presentation on a study she conducted using just this herbal complex for women with endometriosis. She had reported a high success rate of improvement and a few very welcome pregnancies to boot. I had also taken this complex with good results a few years earlier for my own very painful menses.

I also asked Natalie to stop drinking coffee, eliminate red meat and cheese and gave her evening primrose oil and possibly a homeopathic remedy. After about three months on this program her menstrual pain had improved considerably. Another two or three months later she called me to tell me she was pregnant, just in time for her 40th birthday!
