I am experienced in treating children with various developmental and behavioural disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities and others. This is my favorite area of work and the most meaningful to me.

My treatment methods

I use primarily homeopathy to treat children with these conditions, rather than focusing on extensive testing, diet and supplement protocols. Diet and supplementation are important and helpful but will not usually address the deeper underlying issues in these children. Homeopathy is also much less expensive and far easier to use for parents. I assess each child comprehensively and may also make referrals to chiropractors, craniosacral therapist and other professionals as needed.

My philosophy

I am non-judgemental about autism and related conditions. Although the therapies I use are somewhat critical of current vaccination policies I will never assign blame to parents for either vaccinating or not vaccinating their children. Neither do I believe that all autistic characteristics need to be cured. I simply offer a space of acceptance and support for families and to help them provide great care for their children.

CEASE therapy

I recently began to incorporate CEASE Therapy into my practice. CEASE stands for 'Complete Elimination of Autism Spectrum Expression' and is an integrated therapy based on homeopathy developed by Dr. Tinus Smits, a Dutch medical doctor and homeopath. It is not only applicable to children with autism but also to many other neurodevelopmental and behavioural disorders. I realize that readers may be sceptical about his findings that most children with these conditions can be completely healed. I was also, until I started using his method in practice. I am already seeing startling results from using his method.

Groundbreaking research from Holland

Dr. Smits discovered that children with these disorders frequently have a malfunctioning rather than damaged brain due to the cumulative effects of various toxins, including excessive vaccinations, antibiotics, infections, medications and environmental toxins such as plastic softeners received during early development.

Certain illnesses, vaccinations and traumas in the parents or even grandparents may also cause subtle genetic and epigenetic changes which can be passed on and increase the susceptibility of some children to the effects of environmental toxins and other stresses. Restoring brain function gently and effectively

Dr. Smits has developed a treatment program using homeopathic preparations of the different vaccines and medications to help restore the child's brain and immune system to normal function. The book is not only about autism but also about all the other frequent neurologocal, behavioural and physical health problem seen so commonly in children these days.

An integrated protocol

In addition to using the homeopathic preparations of different vaccines, antibiotics and other medications, constitutional homeopathy is also used. I specialize in that area. A few simple supplements, including vitamin C, zinc and fish oil are added to help these children heal faster. The homeopathic remedies are inexpensive, easing the financial burden on parents, and the remedies are non-toxic and easy to give to the children. A year's worth of homeopathic remedies to treat a child with autism will cost less than $150.00.

Although many children benefit from strict gluten and dairy free diets, this program does not require a strict diet, instead it heals the underlying imbalances in the child's body which caused the food sensitivities, again easing the burden on the family system.

Amy Lansky, NASA scientist, mother of an autistic son

Amy Lanksy held a PhD in computer science and was working for NASA, when her son was diganosed with autism. His cure with homeopathy prompted Dr. Lansky to completely change career, become a homeopathic doctor and help other parents with autistic children.

Her book is one of the best introductions to homeopathy yet written and explains its scientific as well as philosophical and historical underpinnings in easy to understand language.

Coming from a NASA scientist it also lends much credibility to the profession in addition to being superbly inspiring.

Ritalin Free Kids

This is another all-time favorite book of mine. It helps parents understand homeopathy and how it can help children with not only ADD/ADHD but also many other behvioural concerns, including excessive shyness, anxiety and anger issues.

I have taken classes with Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman and her husband Robert Ullman and they are genuine and dedicated professionals who have treated thousands of children with all kinds of behavioural and developmental disorders successfully with homeopathy. Fortunately for the profession and thousands of parents, they have written a number of wonderful books about homeopathy.
